Personification

Personification is a figure of speech where human qualities are given to animals, objects or ideas.

1) “The raging winds”
2) “The wise owl”
3) “The warm and comforting fire”
4) The wrath of the moon.
5) Studying is your friend.
6) This city doesn’t sleep.
7) That piece of chocolate cake is calling my name.
8) “The sun stretched its golden arms above the mountain.”
9)  by a new and energetic wind.
10) during the height of the day the sun briefly regained its summertime power.
11) Peace had deserted Devon.
12) Fall (Autumn) had barely touched the full splendor of the trees.
13) The owl laughed with a “hoot-hoot!”
14) The wise owl said to the confused frog, “I know why you are suffering and I can help you find your way.”
